EnviroSaver II® Laundry Ozone System
Energy Conservation and pollution control are big ticket items in the operation of any laundry. The use of Ozone as a wash chemical enhancement reduces the need for High Temperature wash formulas, excessive rinsing and waste water treatment. The destruction of pollutants through Ozone oxidation is a proven technology practiced throughout the world. With today’s new Ozone manufacturing technology, pollution control and energy conservation are more manageable and economical to install.
The EnviroSaver II® Ozone systems for the laundry are modular in design so that one unit is dedicated to one wash machine and sized to the wash capacity of that machine. We change the wash formulas for all ranges of soil from Light through Medium and Heavy, dealing effectively with each. We use good washroom technology including wash chemicals to remove the soil from the fabric and then we use Ozone to treat the dirty wash water. The Ozone injection in to the wash water is a chemical enhancement to the wash chemistry allowing for improved chemical activity with lower levels of product. In this way we can continuously treat the dirty water with a low level of ozone concentration for specific time periods to effectively remove the soil without damage to the fabric. This process is repeated throughout the entire wash formula reducing the need for extra rinses, high wash temperatures or extra chemicals to reduce or neutralize the wash chemistry left in the fabric. Unlike other Ozone systems, we treat the water and do not use the Ozone on the fabric to remove soil through oxidation. Designed to be basically maintenance free, our EnviroSaver II® modular Ozone systems along with the individual “Side-Arm”® diffuser injection, we operate each wash wheel and each wash formula within the parameters of the individual situation. If one Ozone system should go down for any reason it does not affect the other systems in the ozone process.
